When to prune?
The best time to prune your yucca is in spring or early summer, when the plant is actively growing.

How to prune?
Use a sharp, clean knife or saw to cut back the main stem or side shoots. Leave about 10–15 cm of the stem so the plant can regrow from it.

What happens next?
Your yucca will usually sprout new growth from the cut area – sometimes even multiple shoots! The top part you cut off can be rooted in water or soil to grow a new plant.

Tip:
Avoid overwatering – it’s the most common mistake when caring for yuccas.
